Matthew Griffin is a doctoral student in the Department of Teaching and Learning, Policy and Leadership (TLPL) and a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Maryland. His dissertation study investigates the validity of estimates of teacher effectiveness produced by different student achievement-based growth models.
