Doris A. Santoro
Doris A. Santoro is an associate professor at Bowdoin College where she serves as chair of the Education Department. She teaches courses in educational studies and teacher education. Santoro serves as Senior Associate Editor for the American Journal of Education. She is the author of Demoralized: Why Teachers Leave the Profession They Love and How They Can Stay (Harvard Education Press, 2018) and the co-editor of Principled Resistance: How Teachers Resolve Ethical Dilemmas (Harvard Education Press, forthcoming in 2018).
